NOT THE NEWS

September 10, 2006

We've done the 'rawk' songs, most of the overdubs, now it's just mix mix mix. In October. And that's still at Studio Litho, where we will be mixing my songs, the guitar stylings of Patrick Porter, and the rhythmic geen-ee-us of Burke Thomas and Michael Vermilion. It'll all be stirred up and baked by Shawn Simmons. You know. Shawn Simmons of the studio prowess-ness school of just chill and make the record you want to make, man.

I took the picture at the left at a tiny airport/rest-stop in Weed, California, where there were a bunch of birds that looked and sounded a lot like seagulls. Only it was in the mountains. (They qualified as mountains, because they had snow on them). Weird.
